About PFG & Associates

Your trusted partner in accounting, tax, and advisory services.

Our Founder’s Legacy

Our story begins in 1992 when Malcolm John Freeth started our practice as Freeth and Associates. Malcolm, as the main partner, built up a solid client base and served as not only a financial confidant but also a close friend to many. His legacy is a work ethic and a willingness to assist clients far beyond the norm he instilled in the team over the past two decades.

Tragically, Malcolm succumbed to cancer in December 2012, leaving his two partners, Iain Geddes and Philip Pieterse, and his staff with very large shoes to fill. Despite his passing, his spirit lives on in how we approach our work and serve our clients.

In 2012, Freeth and Associates was rebranded to PFG and Associates – with Malcolm’s consent, of course – and continues to serve clients across all industries.

Our Team

At PFG Financial, we are more than just a professional firm—we are a close-knit family. Our team consists of two dedicated directors and their invaluable support staff. What sets us apart is our commitment to fostering lasting relationships, both within our team and with our clients.
